When you meet someone who is obsessed with their craft, it becomes contagious. That’s how I felt when talking to Austen White of Roots & Revival Wood Co.
He is a woodworking master who travels the country to acquire specific types of lumber. Apart from finishes, Austen solely relies on the characteristics of the trees that he uses, from the color, texture, and even the patterns that naturally occur.
So when he asked me to take photos for his new bookshelf, I had to say yes. And this is probably one of my favorite bookshelves that I have ever seen.
